What to Know
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Georgia Hunting License Required
All guests participating in the hunt are required to purchase a Georgia hunting license. Licenses are available online through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. To save time, we recommend purchasing your license prior to arrival.
What to Know
GUN SAFETY
- All guns are to be kept unloaded until directed to load them by your guide.
- While walking, always keep the gun muzzle pointed in a safe direction, away from hunters, guides, or dogs.
- Your gun’s safety is to remain on until immediately before birds are flushed.
- Guns are to be carried with actions open at all times prior to the commencement of the hunt or while around the Lodge area.
- Side-by-side or over-and-under shotguns are preferred in 16, 20, and 28 gauge.
- Every hunter must wear a blaze orange shirt, hat, jacket, or vest.
