Land / family / legacy
Our story.
The story of Cow Creek Farms lives in the land and in the family who has cared for it.
From farm land to Cow Creek Farms
A landscape shaped over generations.
Parts of this South Georgia land were once farmed for tobacco. Later, the fields became pasture for cattle and the occasional horse. Generations on, the property became habitat for quail and other birds among the pine trees.
Live oaks mark the landscape. Old farm equipment, restored for display, carries the memory of family work and the possibility of future growth.
Hard work and God’s favor have provided dreams and provisions on this sand hill we call Cow Creek Farms.

Janice Daugharty / Cow Creek legacy
A creek runs through it.
A Creek runs through it – Cow Creek Farms. So named for the thirsty cattle who congregate to drink. Deer graze in the early morning sunshine raying through the live oaks. In the blue beyond, over the fields and woods, the calls of the bobwhite start the day at Cow Creek Farms.
Janice Daugharty
Janice raised her family on this property. Cow Creek Farms carries part of her and her husband’s legacy forward.
